Recently I was browsing NPR's "Code Switch" Instagram account and they posted a Master P doll that they shared within their office, and I immediately wanted one. So, after a couple google searches I found one on eBay for a few bucks and I purchased. When it arrived to my house I had no clue what to do with it. I debated whether taking it out the box or not. So it just sat on my living room floor for a several weeks until a co-worker and myself decided to take a road trip during the week of Juneteenth to visit Historically Black landmarks, museums, and Black owned businesses. So, when I thought about the importance of supporting Black Owned Business, I thought about Master P and his No Limit Label and how he turned 5,000 dollars that his grandfather left him into a multimillion dollar business. One of those investments a producing a Master P action figure. So I decided to bring my Master P action figure with me capture the moment. I didn’t realize Master P would be a communal figure along the way that fosterd communication with people and build community along the way…. Bout it Bout it.
